Reason Nyamambi currently serves as the Managing Director of Old Mutual Life Insurance Botswana, where she provides strategic leadership to drive business growth and operational excellence. A dedicated and results-oriented leader, Reason brings over 20 years of experience in managing and leading high-performing sales and distribution teams within the insurance sector, with more than a decade spent at the executive level.

Throughout her impressive 30-year career, Reason has demonstrated exceptional versatility and adaptability, having worked across multiple industries including healthcare, sales, customer care, and energy. Prior to her appointment at Old Mutual Life, she held the position of Head of Operations at another insurance firm, where she oversaw operational functions.

Reason’s commitment to continuous professional development is reflected in her extensive academic credentials. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from South Bank University, United Kingdom, and a Master of Science in Strategic Management from the University of Derby. Additionally, she has earned a Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), United Kingdom, as well as a Certificate of Proficiency in Long-Term Insurance from the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA), awarded through the Botswana Accountancy College.
